Providing emergency support

According to the American consultancy firm California Environmental Associates, the Postcode Lotteries are 7th in the top 20 maritime philanthropic funders for the period 2010-2016.

The human stories and images emerging from Ukraine are heartbreaking. The impact of Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine is devastating and the scale of the unfolding humanitarian crisis is grave. This war poses a severe threat to the hope of generations in two countries to develop as a democracy.

Fortunately, there are many charities working to provide humanitarian aid in Ukraine and neighbouring regions. They are assisting along the border and adapting their work to bravely support those in Ukraine during this time of war. This support is creating a lifeline for Ukrainians by distributing medical supplies and food, equipment and other essential items and provide moral support.

Together with our hundreds of charity partners and our millions of players in the Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain, Germany and Norway, the Postcode Lotteries want to contribute to a better world.
